Tukaha HQ Head Coach
Pedro Pacheco Fernandes is a black belt 5th degree and started coaching Jiu Jitsu in Brazil back in 1993 as an assistant coach for Antonio Collares (Tonicao), a job he carried over when he moved to Auckland, New Zealand where he opened Tu Kaha BJJ academy.
He`s based at Tukaha HQ in Auckland and provides technical support, guidance and mentorship to Tukaha South Coast NSW.

Victor
Tukaha South Coast Coach
Victor is originally from Brazil and started his BJJ journey as a teenager under master coral belt Ricardo "Tanque" Reis and are still in regular contact.
Studied Law and Philosophy before moving to New Zealand in 2016. Tried a few different gyms along the way, but connected with the energy of commodore and pure Jiu Jitsu that Tukaha provides.
Experienced teaching classes of all ages and levels, including in social projects and private lessons. He has a very calm teaching style and classes are no-ego vibes.
Victor is now running the Tukaha branch in the South Coast NSW under Pedro`s guidance and mentorship.
Victor is a husband and father to be and could be found either surfing, paddling or practicing Tai Chi at Narrawallee beach when he`s not on the dojo.
